Baron, our star of the week! Nov 26-30
Baron's mom was able to come into our class this morning to read a couple of books to us, and to help us practice our "5 Fingers Summary."
For the next two weeks, in the following subjects we will be working on…
Reading: Drawing conclusions, compare and contrast
Language Arts: Verbs with singular and plural nouns, verbs for past, present, and future
Math: Measuring lengths and distances to the nearest inch and centimeter, using paper and pencil strategies for adding multi-digit numbers, practice partial-sums addition algorithm, introduction into 3-D and 2-D shapes.
Science: Observe, record and compare how physical characteristics and behaviors of animals help them meet their basic needs. Continue with habitat projects in the classroom. Use IIM research method to create a final product.
