Good Afternoon Parents,
I just wanted to inform you about a few special events that our class will be participating in this week.
Tuesday – A blue letter should be in your child’s Tuesday Folder today asking you and your child to consider donating hygiene items to children in Honduras as part of our action plan for our current IB planner about Healthy Bodies.
Dr. Rice, a pediatrician from Texas Children’s, came to talk to all the 2nd graders last Friday about her medical trip to Honduras and how to maintain a healthy body.
Wednesday – Nurse Felder will be showing us a presentation about cold/flu prevention.
Thursday - Mrs. Hopkins will be coming to our class to talk to us about mental health and relaxation.
The school wide Bullydozer Rally will take place at 2:30pm. Please encourage your child to wear a blue shirt on Thursday.
Friday – Our class has earned another class party which will take place this Friday. Please allow your child to come to school in their pajamas and/or most comfortable outfit and bring two items of their choice (small blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, or their board games) to school that day.
