Good Afternoon!
As of this past week we have officially moved out from our “Healthy Bodies” IB planner and we are not starting on our “Biographies” planner. Thank you all for taking the time out to answer your own Family History Questionnaire with your child. We have a lot of interesting things to learn about, activities to participate in, and wonderful products to show you in the end.
For the next two weeks, in the following subjects we will be working on…
Reading: Sequencing, fact and opinion
Language Arts: Adjectives for number, size and shape, and comparative and superlative adjectives
Math: Patterns in counting, finding complements of 10 and differences between multi-digit numbers, building mental arithmetic, exploring weights, equal sharing, and patterns
Science: Physical Science; how to measure and classify matter. How matter changes with temperature.
Social Studies: President’s Day, biographies, timelines, discussing and writing our own significant life events
