Good Morning Parents,
Thank you for sending all the ingredients in for our first
Kids Chopped event yesterday. The students all had a wonderful time yesterday
afternoon. A special “Thank You” to all the moms that were able to come and
help us out yesterday. We definitely would not have been able to do it without
your help. Please take a look at all the pictures from yesterday.

Objectives:
Language Arts- Comparative and superlative adjectives,
adverbs that tell when and where
Reading- Fact and opinion, plot and theme
Math- Review skip counting on a number grid and
calculator, solve multi-digit problems, practice doubling and halving numbers,
measure length to the nearest centimeter and inch
Science- Observe and describe rocks by size, texture,
and color, soil composition, introduction into matter
Social Studies- Biographies, personal histories: what
has made you who you’re, what are important events in your life, and what makes
you unique?
