Parents,
Starting on Monday I will randomly pick a student to be our "Star of the Week". This is a really good way for everyone to get to know each other, and an opportunity for that student to showcase who they are and what they are all about to the rest of the class. This student will be my special helper throughout the week. I have randomly assigned every student in the class to a
week throughout the year. I did not assign children to a four day school week. I will send reminders the week before. Please have your child color/fill out the Star of the Week sheet, All About Me sheet, and parents please complete that Special Letter from you that I will read out loud to the class on Friday.
PLEASE send some pictures with them on Monday to be displayed on our board . On Friday, the "Star of the Week" will be allowed to bring in a few personal items from home to show it to the class. The "Star of the Week" will also be receiving a book filled with letters from his/her classmates on Monday/Tuesday of the following week to take home and keep. I hope that this will be a fun project to work on. Please let me
know if you have a conflict with the date.
