Learning Objectives for the next two weeks:
Reading: Fact and opinion; cause and effect
Language Arts: Pronouns; singular and plural pronouns
Math: Estimate and measure using nonstandard units, explore fractional parts of units of measure, find fractional parts of an inch and centimeter, compare lengths, finding perimeter of polygons, solve number stories
Science: Combine materials that when put together can do things that they cannot do by themselves and justify the selection of those materials based on physical properties; trace changes in the position of an object over time, compare patterns of movement of objects
Social Studies: Introduce concepts of advertising, discuss concepts of media, technology, audience, and communication, look at different types of advertisements we see everyday
